Care led by experience.
Dr Milind Desai is the Senior Consultant Physician and Cardiologist at Desai Medical & Research Centre. He holds honorary degrees in MBBS, MD, MRCP (UK), FRCP (Edin.) and FCCP (USA), and was a Goa State merit list holder, standing 7th in the state at SSCE.
DMRC has well trained nurses, technical staff and doctors, led by Dr Milind Desai, Founder and Director.

Community work
Manisha Foundation — free care at Tisk Sanvordem.
The Manisha Foundation is Dr Milind Desai’s initiative. Its office at Tisk Sanvordem is now open, and everything it offers is free.
A check that finds a raised blood sugar or an irregular trace is only useful if the person it concerns can afford to have it done. The foundation exists so that the cost of finding out is not the reason somebody does not.
It also helps with the paperwork, which is the other thing that stops people using care they are entitled to. DDSSY — the Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana, Goa’s state health scheme — has to be renewed, and a renewal that lapses is a family without cover at the moment it matters. Staff at the office will help with that renewal, and with other advice including career guidance.
